Project Case Introduction: Application of Russian KD-50 Trenchless sludge-water separation equipment
Project Background:
With the acceleration of urbanization in Russia and the increasing demand for underground pipeline construction, trenchless construction technology
has been widely applied in municipal, oil, gas and other projects due to its high efficiency, environmental friendliness and low interference with the ground.
When a certain Russian engineering company was laying underground pipelines in the St. Petersburg area,
it faced the problem of slurry treatment and needed to efficiently separate the waste slurry generated by drilling and excavation to achieve solid-liquid separation
and resource utilization. For this purpose, the KD-50 trenchless sludge-water separation system produced by our company was introduced, which significantly improved the
construction efficiency and environmental protection compliance.
Project Overview:
Project Location: St. Petersburg, Russia
Equipment model: KD-50 Trenchless slurry and water separation System
Processing capacity: 50m³/h
Application process: Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) mud circulation treatment
Construction type: Laying of municipal water supply pipelines
Technical solution:
In response to the geological characteristics of clay soil in Russia, our company has customized a sludge-water separation system. The core configuration is as follows:
1. The first-stage vibrating screen rapidly screens large drill cuttings (with particle size > 2mm).
2. The secondary cyclone desander removes fine sand particles ranging from 20 to 74μm, reducing the density of the slurry.
3. The automated control system is easy to operate and reduces manual intervention.
The dry residue after separation can be transported to the designated landfill, and the recycling rate of filtrate can reach 90%, reducing water resource consumption.
Project effectiveness:
1.The daily slurry processing capacity reaches 400 cubic meters, ensuring the continuous operation of HDD equipment and shortening the construction period by 20%.
2. The reuse of mud reduces costs and is expected to save construction expenses.
3. Fully comply with local policies and regulations in Russia and avoid environmental issues.
This case has verified the reliability of trenchless slurry separation technology under complex geological and climatic conditions,
providing an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for underground projects in Russia and similar regions. In the future,
our company will continue to optimize the adaptability of our equipment and contribute to the sustainable development of global infrastructure.
