Project Background:


Turkmenistan, as an important energy producer in Central Asia, has extremely high requirements for the reliability and environmental friendliness of drilling equipment in the

 development of its oil and gas resources. To meet the high-standard drilling demands of a large local oilfield, Xi 'an Kexun has equipped the ZJ70 drilling rig with an efficient 

and environmentally friendly solid control system, aiming to optimize the drilling fluid processing flow, enhance drilling efficiency and reduce waste emissions.

Project Overview:

Project location: An oil and gas field in Turkmenistan

Solid control system configuration: Five-stage purification system (including vibrating screen, desander, desilter, centrifuge, agitator, etc.)


Processing capacity: Meets the circulation requirements of drilling fluid for a 7,000-meter deep well

System Composition and Functions:


Vibrating screen (primary purification) : High-frequency linear vibrating screen is adopted, with a processing capacity of ≥180m³/h. The mesh size of the screen is adjustable, 

effectively separating drill cuttings larger than 74μm.


Desander and desilter system (secondary/tertiary purification) : Cyclone group (desander + desilter) removes solid particles ranging from 15 to 74μm,

reducing the density of drilling fluid.


Centrifuge (four-stage purification) : High-speed horizontal screw centrifuge separates ultrafine particles of 2-10μm to control the viscosity and stability of drilling fluid.


Auxiliary equipment: automatic dosing device, agitator, liquid level control system, to achieve real-time regulation of drilling fluid performance.


Technological Innovation and Advantages:


Strong adaptability: The system has been optimized for the high-temperature and sand-dust environment in Turkmenistan, and sunshades have been designed.


Environmental compliance: The closed design reduces drilling fluid leakage, and the waste treatment complies with local environmental protection regulations.


Intelligent management: PLC centralized control, real-time monitoring of parameters such as flow rate, density, and solid content, reducing manual intervention.
